Stargazing Night at ridgemill estate

Away from city lights Stanthorpe’s high elevation, cool climate and low light pollution make it one of Queensland’s best locations for stargazing.

What to Expect on the Night:

For many guests, the highlight begins simply by standing beneath the Granite Belt sky as darkness falls. From there, the evening unfolds with stargazing, live music, delicious food and beautiful wine.

Guided telescope viewing with local and visiting astronomers

Laser guided sky tour

Educational presentations and videos in the Cosmos Cave

What happens if the event is cancelled: ridgemill estate reserves the right to cancel the event if weather conditions or local fire conditions make it unsafe or unsuitable to proceed. If a cancellation is necessary, we’ll notify ticket holders by 12 noon on Saturday, 19 September 2026. Any event tickets purchased will be refunded in full.

What if my plans change — can I get a refund: We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel, we’re happy to offer a full refund with at least 48 hours’ notice prior to 19 September 2026. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@ridgemillestate.com (excludes accommodation bookings)
